I was inspired! From your video I learned how to work with AI in an entirely new and more productive way. I had previously been feeding AI outlines of material that I needed to write and asking for word count and style. Using AI to brainstorm, to bring out more of MY creativity out into the world, that is something close to a paradigm shift for me. Thank you for sharing your work!
Thank you for this writing, Lauren! It's wonderful to see how you allowed your creative flowing to nourish your healing.
I watched your video joyfully last week, then was disturbed by those hater comments. It sparked below reflection that I hope can encourage you to keep authentically creating, sharing, and gracefully moving forward past the criticism.
"The hater response to “AI as Creative Partner” is based on a delusion that knowledge and creativity happens in a vacuum. The deluded have huge egos that want to believe their originality is purely independent and uninfluenced; they reject the truth that “everything is a remix”. For the true nature of knowledge is that it is a collective endeavor, and the most creative among us are not extraordinary because they are ordained with original gifts, but because they know how to ordinarily work hard and to be a humble vessel capable of powerfully channeling and uniquely moving the infinite collective forward."
Wow Bronson that was such an emotionally moving reflection. It is sparking for me writing something about collaboration. Something I tell my students I work with is that they are used to school teaching them they have to do everything solo to avoid cheating, but in my cohort they work on their grad school essays together often with people applying to the exact semi programs. What I tell them is we are working from a collaborative mindset where everyone can win. And I have them think about how no one person got us to the moon, but decades of research and work that built on each other and that is how progress happens, not in a vacuum.
Great read, Lauren. Thanks for your transparency always. You're not alone. I loved the quote from your friend about "criticism, and it being the critic's own B.S.!" I completely agree that it is not about MEEEEEE or YOUUUU my friend. Keep up the good work. You are an amazing, daughter, sister, friend, wife, mom, and author. YOU ARE A BOSS..
I loved the video. Very inspiring!
Amazing way to deal with those comments, that's a great video and a great example of using AI on daily endeavours. Keep making more videos.
Haters, how frustrating!

Awesome! You can think of it as a creative sparring partner.
