I spent years trying to figure out my niche for this newsletter, and a TikTok video helped me understand, oh shit, the niche is me.

I am my own niche.

Or as Frida Kahlo brilliantly put it, "I am my own muse. The subject I know best. The subject I want to know better."

Here, I give voice to the scrambled thoughts in my head and navigate my seemingly incompatible parts as a Latina entrepreneur, social justice advocate, and new mother. I attempt to apply advice from one of my favorite writers, Suleika Jaouad: "If you want to write a good book, write what you don't want others to know about you. If you want to write a great book, write what you don't want to know about yourself."
